About the winemaker
The ‘Grapehunters’ project was founded by Jurriaan, based in Spain, and Dana, living in the Netherlands, driven by a desire to bring genuine natural wines to the market in collaboration with like-minded growers who are friends. Drawing on their network within the natural wine world, they source well-priced wines from the wine regions of southern Europe. Each cuvée whether white, red, orange, or sparkling is released under the unifying Grapehunters label, celebrating a spectrum of European natural wine producers.

About the wines
Dana and Jurriaan apply a straightforward philosophy when selecting their wines: healthy grapes, wild fermentations, no fining or filtration, and no or only minimal sulfite additions. In other words, these are wines made purely from grapes. In terms of flavour, they strike a balance between easygoing and more daring, so their bottles appeal as much to all your friends as they might to your mother-in-law at Christmas dinner.
