Dear wine lovers and friends,

We are super excited to hereby invite you to our annual portfolio tasting, which will take place on Saturday, November 1st and Sunday, November 2nd! This year, seven producers will be present to showcase their wines, and there will be 100+ bottles open to taste. Following the enthusiastic feedback from the previous years, we’ll also be hosting two rounds of engaging lectures, and both evenings, there will be dinners where all winemakers will be present.

As is tradition, Saturday evening is reserved for the winemakers’ dinner at Choux, where chef Merijn van Berlo will be cooking a set menu, and each course is paired with a wine from the attending producers. On Sunday, after the tasting, we are hosted by the great team of newly opened Restobar Nikotin in Amsterdam-Noord, where Tim van der Molen and the kitchen team will take care of the menu. At Nikotin, the setting will be more informal, with an à la carte menu and special wines from the winemakers available by the glass or bottle. For both dinners, all the winemakers will be present themselves for questions and talks.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

• This year our annual portfolio tasting will take place on Saturday, November 1st and Sunday, November 2nd, from13:00–17:00, on the 3rd floor above Restaurant Choux (De Ruyterkade 128, Amsterdam).
• This year, seven Zuiver producers will be present to share their wines and stories, and we will be opening a wide selection from the rest of our portfolio. 
• We will welcome Stephanie & Eduard of Gut Oggau, Léo of Domaine Ruhlmann-Dirringer, Jura-queen Catherine Hannoun of Domaine de La Loue, Alain Carrère of Domaine de Majas, Fabio Bartolomei of Vinos Ambiz, Francesca & Davide of Vigna Flor and Martin Wörner of Marto Wines.
• Throughout the weekend, several of the winemakers will give lectures about multiple topics. The schedule, topics, and details will be shared soon on our website and Instagram.

• Tickets for our private customers are available for €15, which includes access to the tasting and taking home aZuiver Wijnen tasting glass. 
• The tasting is free of charge for our professional customers — if you’re in the trade please get in touch via info@zuiverwijnen.nl for details on how to RSVP.
• Please note: tickets for private customers are limited in number.

DINNERS ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY

• On Saturday we’ll host a winemakers’ dinner at Restaurant Choux, where every course will be paired with wineas from the attending producers. The dinner at Choux on Saturday will be one seating, and starts at 18:30 for all guests.
• On Sunday we move to Nikotin, where Tim van der Molen and his team will serve an à la carte menu. The vibe there will be more relaxed, with special wines available by the glass or by the bottle. Reservations for the dinner at Nikotin on Sunday can be made from 18:30 onwards.
• Reservations for both dinners can be made via the Choux website and the Nikotin website respectively. The price for the Choux dinner is €125, including aperitif, wine pairings, water, coffee or tea. At Nikotin, there’s no prix fixe.
